Cayman’s Key Clubs shine at district conference
(CNS Local Life): A contingent of 45 Key Club members representing five schools in Cayman joined more than 2,200 other young people from the Florida District at the annual Education and Leadership Conference (DCON) in Orlando held 4-7 April, with many of the students earning awards, and the Cayman Islands named outstanding division.
DG’s 5K Challenge to benefit five good causes
(CNS Local Life): The Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge is celebrating its fifth anniversary by selecting five good causes to benefit from the 2018 event, which takes place in April. To mark the five-year milestone, the walk/run will also be held in Little Cayman for the first time, in addition to Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman.

Pedal power drives Kiwanis fundraiser
(CNS): The Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman recently held their 34th Annual KiwaniBike where close to 150 cyclists rode 20 miles, from the Blow Holes in East End to Smith Cove in South Sound. Event chairperson Monique Bush thanked everyone for participating in the fundraiser, which took in almost $7,000.
