Miss Teen hopefuls visit Cayman Brac
(CNS Local Life): The five contestants for Miss Teen Cayman Islands took part in the pageant’s annual Cayman Brac trip Saturday, 10 August to explore the local culture, as they did on Grand Cayman in July. Among the places visited were the Cayman Brac Museum, Skull Cave, Cayman Brac Lighthouse and National Trust Parrot Reserve.

(CNS Local Life): The five contestants taking part in the Miss Teen Cayman Islands competition were officially presented with their sponsor sashes at an event held Saturday, 27 July. The pageant, in its 39th year and being held at the Lions Centre 24 August, is themed “Sailing the High Seas”.

Cayman gets new Miss Teen after three-year wait
(CNS): Liana DaCosta has been crowned Miss Teen Cayman Islands for 2016, at a pageant held Saturday, 27 August at the Lions Centre. The 16-year-old from Bodden Town also took home the awards for academic excellence, Miss Photogenic and best in gown. The contest returned after a three-year hiatus, with seven young women taking part.
