(CNS Local Life): Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation (CIEF) held its fourth National Jumping Series on Sunday, 4 June, which was the last event for the season. The show attracted riders with their ponies and horses from both the Equestrian Centre and Cayman Riding School, which hosted the event. Tanya Neville-Dickson judged the competition.

After a rainy early morning, the weather cleared, allowing the participants and gallery to enjoy fresh breezes, which also led to speedy times.

Winners for the day included Eva Muspratt on Oscar in the 0.6 M class for ponies. Olivia Kluyver was successful on Shirley Temple in both the 0.6 M and 0.7 M class for horses with quick, clean rounds. Leading the 0.7 M class ponies was Skye Buckley on Jack, with Abbey Swartz taking the 0.8 M class ponies on Blue Ridge Dream On. Kayla Godwin finished strong for a win on Harry in the 0.8 M class horses.

Next up on the CIEF calendar is the year-end awards dinner, set for 24 June. A new season of dressage and jumping is scheduled to begin in September.

Events are free and spectators are welcome. For more information on the federation go to the CIEF website
