One of this year’s RCIPS football teams

(CNS Local Life): The annual RCIPS six-a-side football competition has been ongoing in recent weeks, with teams from different units within the organisation, plus a few external squads, playing matches at the CIFA Field in Prospect on weekday evenings. There is still time for teams to register for the tournament, set to conclude with a full day of competition on Monday, 3 July, during which RCIPS teams will play other squads from within the government and the private sector.

Every year this community event includes both youth and adult teams. Police football players are challenging their public and private counterparts to register for the competition.

The deadline to register is Thursday, 15 June, and it costs $100 per team. Anyone interested in taking part should email the RCIPS
