Cayman tourism delegation at FCCA conference
(CNS Local Life): Senior government officials and tourism industry partners are attending the 24th annual Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Conference in Merida, Mexico. The delegation is showcasing attractions, culture and activities with a focus on the importance of cruise tourism and delivering the message that the Cayman Islands is open for business.
The four-day conference is designed to foster a better understanding of the inner workings of the cruise industry and help attendees improve their cruise tourism business, stated a Cayman Islands Department of Tourism press release.
The delegation comprises government representatives from: the Ministry and Department of Tourism; the Port Authority of the Cayman Islands; the Cayman Turtle Centre; and the Tourism Attraction Board alongside private-sector partners Cayman Crystal Caves, DECCO and The Tour Company.
