Donation will improve eating area at pre-school
(CNS Local Life): A local company is stepping in to sponsor upgrades to the dining area at Miss Nadine’s Pre-School that will be completed by the end of this month. The donation from heavy equipment and drilling contractors Watler and Hislop Services will be used to build an eating area for the young students as well as laminate tables to ensure cleanliness, durability and longevity.
Miss Nadine’s Pre-School is managed by the National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), one of Cayman’s longest running charities. In a press release, NCVO Director Angela Sealey thanked the company and its staff “for the generous donation of CI$1,680 in support of the upgrade and beautification of the dining area”.
She added, “Your commitment to this project is incredibly helpful and allows us to reach our goal. Your assistance will make an immediate difference to the comfort and enjoyment of the children in our pre-school. We are genuinely appreciative.”
Company manager Sydney Shaw said, “Watler and Hislop Services Ltd is pleased to assist NCVO with improvements that lead to a higher quality pre-school environment that encourages a joy for learning and promotes healthy social development.”
The NCVO community programme at Miss Nadine’s Pre-School provides high-quality early education, and a caring environment for up to 65 students from 2-5 years of age, stated the release.
