National Trust ‘Explorer Passport’

(CNS Local Life): Visitors and residents can now go on an island-wide scavenger hunt in Grand Cayman thanks to the release of a National Trust for the Cayman Islands booklet pointing the way toward many obscure spots. The “Explorer Passport to Grand Cayman” features photos of sites and includes a map and stickers that will allow people to mark where they have been.

Describing the 20-page passport as “a one-of-a-kind adventure’, the Trust said in a press release that it allows people “a fun way to discover the many hidden or little-known places around Grand Cayman. Participants follow clues, travel to different sites, discover unique aspects of each area and learn about the heritage and natural wonders of our beautiful island.”

Each of the pages in the booklet has a variety of nature-related activities to explore. Included are several “Did You Know” facts to encourage people to have fun while exploring Grand Cayman’s nature and wildlife.

To purchase a copy of the booklet, which costs $6, go to the Nature Store in Dart Family Park, South Church Street. For more information, call 749-1121 or go to the National Trust website
