Heart charity offers help to families in need

| 07/09/2018

CNS Local Life(CNS Local Life): The Hart for Hearts (H4H) programme, under the Cayman Heart Fund (CHF), is reminding the public that financial assistance is available for families in need in Cayman when their child is born with a congenital heart defect. The money helps with expenses associated with urgent paediatric cardiology healthcare.

H4H, which was formed in November 2015, has to date assisted a number of families in Cayman, stated a CHF press release. The distributed funds have enabled families to pay utility bills, travel or accommodation expenses, or parents to take time off work to be with their child, seeking guidance from doctors and being a voice for their son or daughter.

The Cayman Heart Fund is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to educating the public, influencing policy and supporting access to high-quality healthcare through various programmes and initiatives.

For more information on CHF or to apply for financial assistance, call the Cayman Heart Fund at 916-6324 or email CHF
