Kids learn about heritage at summer camp
(CNS Local Life): About 100 children have completed a four-week summer camp devoted to nature- and heritage-based arts and crafts activities. Jointly run by the National Trust and Art Nest Creative Studio, the camp, “Art of Nature”, was held at the Trust’s operational base in Dart Park on South Church Street.

CayFilm names lifetime achievement awardees
(CNS Local Life: Two Hollywood heavyweights – Loren Carpenter, co-founder and former chief scientist at Pixar Animation Studios, and James V. Hart, who wrote the screenplay for Bram Stoker’s Dracula – will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards at the CayFilm Cayman International Film Festival set for 30 June to 3 July 2017.
Local filmmakers set to shine at festival
(CNS Local Life): CayFilm, the Cayman International Film Festival, this year will be showcasing 20 local productions along with entries from 50 other countries. Set for 30 June-3 July, this marks the third anniversary of the event, and festival director Tony Mark said he was “honoured” to be showing so many domestically produced films.
