Golf fundraiser scores for the Red Cross
(CNS Local Life): RBC Royal Bank continued its 19-year partnership with the Cayman Islands Red Cross (CIRC) during their recent fundraising golf tournament. This year’s event featured the Canadian Olympian Jamie Broder and raised more than $50,000 for the charity. More than 100 participants from organisations across Cayman gathered to play while raising funds for CIRC.

Church volunteers donate funds for school supplies
(CNS): A local church has donated more than CI$8,000 to 10 schools on Grand Cayman to cover needed supplies such as tuition, books, lunch and uniforms for 40 children. Volunteers from the community-services department of the George Town Seventh-day Adventist Church recently organised a fish fry to raise the funds.
