Law firm offers work experience for students
(CNS): A group of young Caymanians have completed internships at Mourant Ozannes, benefitting from the opportunity to get first-hand experience of working in a law firm. Over the summer, 19 students drawn from the Cayman Finance Work Experience Scheme spent between two and four weeks working alongside lawyers and other professionals at the firm.
CITA interns make the most of summer
(CNS): The Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA) hosted three interns this summer as part of its work with local schools and programmes to provide educational opportunities for students. CITA also provides information to those interested in the local tourism industry. The three young people gained work experience at the association’s executive office.
Interns gain work experience at CIMA
(CNS): A group of young Caymanians have spent the summer as interns at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) under an initiative aiming to provide career-development opportunities to students looking to gain work experience. The authority has also awarded scholarships to two students seeking to further their education in the finance and business fields.

(CNS): Four students from the Cayman Islands Further Education Centre (CIFEC) spent the summer as interns for law firm the HSM Group, gaining experience in areas such as debt collection and intellectual property. Dwight Lawrence, Shantell Ritch, Anisha Ritch and Victoria Whittaker were the students who joined HSM’s summer internship programme.
