HSA asks everyone to give thanks by giving blood
(CNS): The Health Services Authority (HSA) is encouraging the public to celebrate Cayman Thanksgiving by donating blood. On Saturday, 5 December from 10am to 2pm, the Cayman Islands Hospital will be set up for blood donors at the atrium.
HSA to require upfront payment at pharmacy
(CNS): As of 1 January 2016, the Health Services Authority (HSA) will require that all prescriptions through its pharmacy are paid for at the time of service, bringing that department in line with the authority’s revamped payment policy.

HSA readies flu vaccine throughout Cayman
(CNS): Starting Wednesday, 21 October, people can receive the flu vaccine at the Cayman Islands Hospital, District Health Centres in Grand Cayman, Faith Hospital on Cayman Brac and the Little Cayman Clinic. Acting Director of Primary Health Care Dr. Samuel Williams-Rodriguez explained this year’s vaccine will also protect against the 2009 H1N1 pandemic flu.
