Wants to escort patient to Cayman

| 24/01/2017

Can a visitor (a family member) who is accompanying a Health City patient but is from a country for which Cayman requires an entry visa, be granted entry if the patient does not require an entry visa (from the US)?

Auntie’s answer: I’m afraid the family member does not get any special dispensation on the requirements for an entry visa to Cayman. While the Department of Immigration official I asked cannot provide any specifics in your case, in general the Immigration Law does not provide a visa exemption for persons accompanying a patient here.

The immigration website has a section on visas and the official advised you to take a look through that for information on how to apply for a visa to travel to Cayman.

The person asking the question has to realize that they are only an income unit for the economy in the eyes of the Government and that basic concepts of humanity are not the primary interests of the nation supposedly founded on Christian beliefs.

They need to look into this and grant exceptions for people accompanying a Health City patient.
