Rotary Sunrise donates school supplies
(CNS Local Life): Rotary Sunrise recently donated backpacks filled with school supplies for deserving students ahead of the new academic year. The service club gave the 24 backpacks to the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to distribute to the students. “Rotary Sunrise knows how important having the right kit is,” said Jenna Mungall, one of the club’s community services directors.
“We are pleased to gift these backpacks and back-to-school stationery to students and hope that these items will contribute to their academic success.”
Tiffany Myles, Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Social Work Manager, said of the donation: “The Department of Children and Family Services is thrilled to receive the backpacks and school supplies from Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Sunrise. We are extremely grateful for this act of kindness and are certain that the children who receive these essential school supplies will also be thankful and put them to good use.”
