CCMI raffles gala tickets
(CNS Local Life): The Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI) is raffling two tickets to its Festival of Seas Awards and Gala fundraiser, set for 3 November. Alexandra Cousteau, granddaughter of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, National Geographic Emerging Explorer, and globally recognised advocate on water issues, will deliver the keynote address at the event.
CCMI will also be recognising members of the Cayman community who have made significant contributions to coral reefs and oceans.
Fewer than 20 tickets to Festival of Seas are available, a CCMI press release said, making this a “sought-after event”. Raffle entries, at $25 each, may be purchased through Friday, 26 October at 9am; the winner will be announced at noon that day.
Tickets to the event cost $225 per person. The Festival of Seas will be held at Grand Old House with the evening including, among others, a welcome drink, open bar, three course seated meal and live music.
For information on purchasing raffle tickets go to the CCMI Facebook page. A minimum of 15 entries is required in order for CCMI to raffle off one pair of tickets.
