Dressage riders enjoy day of firsts
(CNS Local Life): Cayman’s dressage riders tacked up on Sunday, 3 February, to compete in the first of three national shows scheduled for this season, each of which is sponsored by the Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation (CIEF). The event took place at the Equestrian Centre in George Town, with 29 entries on the day.
Academy formalises use of Triple C field
(CNS Local Life): Academy Sports Club has signed a lease with Triple C School for the use of the field where the club conducts various developmental programmes for footballers ranging from children to adults. The long-term agreement was formalised by members of the Academy board of directors and school representatives in November.
Immigration officer earns employee award
(CNS Local Life): Calling Stafford Millwood “the type of civil servant that makes the Cayman Islands Government world class”, Deputy Governor Franz Manderson presented the Department of Immigration officer his Employee of the Month certificate for December, at a ceremony held Wednesday, 6 February.
