Swim Meet starts Friday
The annual Pete Ribbins Memorial Consolidated Water Meet takes place 17-19 January at the Lions Aquatic Centre. Christmas trees for Mulch
The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) has placed bins for the public to drop off Christmas trees, which will be collected and mulched in the landfill. The mulch will then be taken to the Cricket Grounds next to the Farmer’s Market in George Town for public collection on Saturday, 25 January, starting at 8am.

IT expert promoted at Computer Services
(CNS Local Life): Darvy Whittaker, who has over thirty years of experience in information technology service delivery, has been promoted within the Computer Services Department (CSD) to Deputy Director, Service Delivery. Cullers must renew special licences
The RCIPS Security and Firearms Licensing Unit is reminding the public that the special firearms licences issued to cullers registered with the 2018-2019 Green Iguana Cull Project (see previous release) have now expired.
DVDL West Bay Closed Friday
The Department of Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing (DVDL) West Bay location will be closed today, Friday 10 January, for building maintenance but will re-open tomorrow, Saturday 11 January, 9:00am to 4:00pm. The DVDL’s Crewe Road and Breakers locations will be open today for business as usual.
