Braccanal organisers give back
(CNS): The volunteers behind the annual Braccanal Carnival have donated the funds remaining from the 2015 festivities to three local charities. The Braccanal committee has given $150 to the Rotary Club of Cayman Brac (the founders of Braccanal), $100 to the Cayman Islands Outreach Programme and $200 to the Kirkconnell Community Care Centre for the elderly.
Crisis Centre elects new executive

Glow Run shines for fun and charity
(CNS): The second annual Glow Run 5K attracted 635 registered runners, doubling last year’s participation. The National Trust for the Cayman Islands partnered with KPMG to host the 22 June event in which runners came dressed in brightly coloured costumes, face paint, luminous accessories and flashing lights.
