(CNS Local Life): The Cayman Islands has been ranked first in the Caribbean Journal’s roundup of “The 19 Best Caribbean Islands to Visit in 2019”. The destination’s sophistication, infrastructure and “unparalleled comfort and ease” were heralded as the determining factors for recognition, stated a Cayman Islands Department of Tourism press release.

Retiring DoT officer honoured for service
(CNS Local Life): Alma McKenzie, senior tourism training and development officer for the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (DoT), has retired after 27 years of service which focused on the development of youth and infusion of tourism education into schools’ curriculums.
