Chamber accepting applications for Leadership Cayman
(CNS Local Life): The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce has opened registration for its 2020 Leadership Cayman Programme, which provides class members with an in-depth view of social, economic, business, political and community aspects of the Cayman Islands. Programme members also acquire new leadership skills and engage in community projects.
Leadership Cayman marks 10th graduation
(CNS Local Life): The Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the 10th annual Leadership Cayman initiative with 26 people graduating from the intensive six-month programme designed to give participants a well-rounded view of the Cayman Islands community; provide a detailed understanding of the islands’ history and culture; and help them develop their leadership skills.

Chamber event celebrates mentoring programme
(CNS Local Life): The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 2019 Mentoring Cayman initiative with a luncheon on Wednesday, 1 May. The six-month programme is a joint partnership with the Ministry of Education, which pairs students with mentors from Chamber member businesses and provides them with careers workshops.

Record turnout for Chamber of Commerce Earth Day Clean-Up
(CNS): The Chamber of Commerce hosted its 18th annual Earth Day Islandwide Clean-up with well over 1,400 volunteers on Saturday 18 April. Starting at sunrise until 10:00 am, official said hundreds of people representing schools, businesses, church groups and other community organisations, worked throughout the day to cleanup Cayman’s roadsides and beaches.
Water Authority Sponsors 2015 Earth Day Clean-Up
(CNS): In celebration of Earth Day, observed annually on 22 April, Water Authority – Cayman recently donated CI$1000 to sponsor the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce island-wide Earth Day Clean-Up. In addition to its financial support, the Water Authority will also organise a team of volunteers to assist in the clean-up, which takes place Saturday, 18 April.
