The award, for “selfless acts of time and dedication to the Legal Befrienders’ Programme,” is named after one of the service’s staunchest volunteers and has been presented annually since 2011.

(CNS Local Life): The 2018 Stood Up Interscholastic Fair, organised by the Family Resource Centre (FRC), doubled the number of participants in its second year, with 85 students, representing 13 government and private schools, displaying 40 anti-bullying-themed projects. The fair aimed to encourage the students to be creative in exploring ways they could address bullying.
