Attorney recognised for volunteer work
(CNS): Attorney Benjamin Woolf has received the Lee A. Freeman award for volunteering his legal services to the local community, as part of the Family Resource Centre’s (FRC) Legal Befrienders clinic. FRC programme coordinator Miriam Foster explained the award is named in honour of a much-valued volunteer.
Cayman gets ready to celebrate peace
(CNS): The Family Resource Centre (FRC) is planning to celebrate Peace Day on Monday, 21 September, with a flash mob in George Town and special workshops throughout Grand Cayman. As it has for the past four years, the FRC will lead a traffic-stopping flash mob and peace-building sessions.
