Chamber event celebrates mentoring programme
(CNS Local Life): The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 2019 Mentoring Cayman initiative with a luncheon on Wednesday, 1 May. The six-month programme is a joint partnership with the Ministry of Education, which pairs students with mentors from Chamber member businesses and provides them with careers workshops.
Mentoring Cayman benefits another group of students
(CNS Local Life): As Mentoring Cayman concluded its 15th year, 43 students from public and private schools recently completed the youth empowerment and development programme. Jointly launched by the Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Youth in 2002, the initiative has assisted more than 1,400 mentors and students in establishing trusting relationships.
Governor hosts reception for mentoring programme

Mentoring Cayman cruises toward end of 2017 programme
(CNS Local Life): The Chamber of Commerce recently took its 2017 Mentoring Cayman class on a local cruise as part of its annual programme, with students and mentors enjoying a trip around North Sound. Every year a similar trip is organised to give the students a chance to socialise with one another and their mentors.
