EMS demonstrates lifesaving practices
(CNS Local Life): The Health Services Authority (HSA) Emergency Medical Services (EMS) team is hosting events Tuesday, 21 May as part of EMS week, which runs through Friday. To mark “Safety Tuesday”, EMS staff will be at two supermarkets to provide the public with “hands-on lifesaving practices”.
The HSA said there will be three stations set up displaying hands-only CPR, “stop the bleed” and child safety seats. The first session is scheduled for 11am-1pm at Hurley’s Market, followed by 3pm-5pm at the Airport Foster’s Food Fair. Refreshments and snacks will be available at both events.
