Singing Christmas tree tuning up
(CNS): Now in its ninth year, the date for the much loved local festive spectacle, the Annual Singing Christmas Tree, has been confirmed, organisers have said. Kicking off the holiday season, this year’s performance includes the Ft Lauderdale Christian Center Singers as well as several local singers from Cayman schools. The two-night event at the Lions Center showcases a 70-voice choir singing in a 25-foot tree.
The musical selections and drama mix the traditional Christmas songs presented by a multi-media production that incorporates the latest in lighting and sound technology.
The event takes place on 30 November and 1 December at 6pm.
